From MIT, BITL strives to educate and inspire people to be more sustainable by interacting with their augmented reality murals. The mural "14: Life Below Water" was completed in November 2021 and focuses on the conservation and sustainable use of oceans, seas, and marine resources. The mural was a collaborative effort between the members of Before It's Too Late, four Miami Beach Senior High School students (including me), and several elementary school students.

I designed, rigged, textured, and animated several marine animals in the mural including the manatee, turtle, and jellyfish

Being new to Blender and Unity, I was constantly looking things up and reaching out to BITL's asset designer for assistance. ​After several weeks of collaboration, the mural was painted on an elementary school in my hometown and showcased for the local news. The result was extremely rewarding, and in addition to becoming familiar with new software, I gained experience delegating work and became more comfortable asking questions in the learning process.
