About Me

SPORTS

I love playing tennis and beach volleyball!

I peaked at both in high school

For those who are curious, despite being tall, I am impressively bad at basketball. When I was younger, I played tennis with my mom and pops and have started to play again with friends in my 20s. Growing up on Miami Beach, I've also been surrounded by a culture of pick up games so whenever I have free time in the summer, I'll head out there with my hometown friends and play with the locals.

TRAVEL

The world is so big...

I've gotten to travel a lot of the world and I'd love to see more one day

Between having a diplomat stepfather and family abroad, I've been able to travel around the world. Food is particularly important to me because it's such an intimate look into other cultures! (I'm also just a big, hungry fella). I've gotten goulash in Budapest, mofongo in the Dominican Republic, jjajangmyeon in Korea, currywurst in Germany, and horse steak in Kazakhstan to name some. I'm grateful for all these awesome experiences and would love to continue exploring to foster a more open mind and palette.

MUSIC

24 Albums

Music is another way I connect to my past, my friends, and my folks!

It's all over the place admittedly, but each has a silly story. For example...

  • Jazz - I watched Jersey Boys with my dad and fell down a rabbit hole when I was 10
  • 80s Rock - from Sirius XM 80s on 8 with my pops again
  • Korean Pop / Rap / Classics - from the family abroad
  • Japanese Punk & City Pop - from anime and friends
  • R&B - karaoke and my childhood
