For those who are curious, despite being tall, I am impressively bad at basketball. When I was younger, I played tennis with my mom and pops and have started to play again with friends in my 20s. Growing up on Miami Beach, I've also been surrounded by a culture of pick up games so whenever I have free time in the summer, I'll head out there with my hometown friends and play with the locals.
Between having a diplomat stepfather and family abroad, I've been able to travel around the world. Food is particularly important to me because it's such an intimate look into other cultures! (I'm also just a big, hungry fella). I've gotten goulash in Budapest, mofongo in the Dominican Republic, jjajangmyeon in Korea, currywurst in Germany, and horse steak in Kazakhstan to name some. I'm grateful for all these awesome experiences and would love to continue exploring to foster a more open mind and palette.
